END-OF-SEASON RUGBY
Several Matches Postponed INTEREST IN THIRD TEST End-of-season fixtures were arranged by the Hawke's' Bay Rugby Union last evening, - several games baving to be postponed on account of requests from clubs wbo wisbed to attend tbe final Test in Auckland on Saturday. The tropbies for tbe season will be presented at tbe conclusion of tbe final of tbe Lane Cup matches. H.S.O.B., the winners of tbe Napier tbird-grade competition, wbose match with tbe Hastings winners, Havelock Nortb, was to bave been played at Napier on Saturday, were granted permission to postpone tbe match wbich is to be played at Havelock Nortb on October 2, of convenient to tbe Havelock Club. Should tbis arrangement not be convenient, tbe teams will be bracketed as joint winners. 1 Taradale were granted permission to | postpone their Swain Cup semi-final game for Saturday to October 2. Tbe final round for tbis competition will be played on October 9, on a ground to be arranged. Marist thirds were granted permission to play Gisborne Marist thirds at Napier on Saturday. It was deeided tbat the Lane Cup finals sbould be played at Napier on October 2.
