MISSING POLAR FLYERS

Wilkins Abandons Scaicb (Received 23, 12.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sopt. 22. The Associated Press states that Sir Hubert Wilkins is abandoning his search for the Soviet flyers who wero lost during a non-stop ffight over the North Pole. He is returning to New York to-morrow. He has not determined whether he will continue, even if he obtains a plane bettor suited to winter eperations.
