WELLINGTON, Last' Night. The provision in the Finance Ao, autliorising raeing and trotting clubt to retain for their own use one-fifth of the amount of totalisator duty payable by clubs under the Stamp Duties Act has been extended a further year, commencing on July 31 last. An announcement to this effect was made by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, this evening.
