Selwyn Averil] were Hastings visitors to Wairoa for the Brucg-de Lautour wedding yesterday. Miss Enwright, of Christchurch, will b0 the guest of her sister, Mrs W. J. White, Charles street, Hastings, during the Dominion golf tournament in Napier. Miss Audrey' Ormond, Wallingford, Waipukurau, is at present touring Great Britain with her brother, hlr J). Ormond. Mrs Russell Mattliews, New Plymouth, is the guest of Mrs O. Mortimer Jones, the Vicarage, Hastings. Lieutenant and Mrs J. H. N. Poett, who were recently married in Hastings, arrived in London from America last month. Mrs Poett was formerly Miss Julia Herrick. Miss Elizabeth Bauchop, Havelock North, is at present studying art at the Waldorf School, Stuttgart. Miss Nancy Hartmann, of Hawke's Bay, is at the sarne school. Miss Nan Maclean, a daughter of Archdeacon and Mrs K. E. Maclean, of Hastings, arrived last month to study educational methods at Goldsmith's College, London University.
