Accounts Paid Under Will from income or cafltal?

AUCKLAND, Last Night An orig'inating summons seeking orders to determino tho question of accounts under the will and two deeds of settlement made by Kangi Kere-, homh, of Hastings ,who died in November, 1918, came before Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court to-day. The value of the estate is considered to exceed £100,000. The disposition of settlements and of the estate was decided by Mr. Justice Callan in an action heard in March of last year. Kerehoma married in January, 1910, and there was one child, now a young woman 20 yuars of age. Kerehoma died in Novembcr, 1918, and his widow dicd in September, 1925. On April 4, 1936, Mr. Justice Callan dclivered an intorim judgmcnt whereby diately bepame entitled to the £95,000 Keremoana Minnie Kerehoma immcsettled on her by her fat.her The question before the Court to-day was whether various moneys paid by the trustees, including £2230 to one party and £1950 to another, should have been eharged to the income, or whether they should have been a charge on the capital. A strong array of counsel is engaged x in legal argument. The cast is expected to last sevoral days.
