Play in Hastings Open Event THIS MORNING RGUNDS % Ihe Hastings ladies' open golf champlonship toumament was continued at Bridge Pa tMs morning when conditio'ns were again excellent. JOvernight showers made the greens a little on the slow side for the early part of the morning play, but they dried out nicely to provide excellent playing conditions. Play this morning in manv of the games was keenly contested, the playing of extra holes being necessary in • several instances. Miss Helean, who headed the qualifying rounds, and Miss M, Jefferd, the defending title-holder, both were in excellent form and racorded easy victories.
