LEAGUE CUP MISSING

Mysterious Disappearance last seen three years ago (Beceived 22, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 21. The Eugby Ashes Cup, for whieh the Australian League team kas come to . England, has mysteriously disappeared. An exhaustive search by officials has proved fi'uitless. It was last sfien in 1934. Mr John Wilson, the Bugby League secretary, said he had not seen the cup for three years# When it Went out.of his possession it was not retufiied. If the cup is not found, it is possible that the Courtney Goodwill Trophy, designed aild presented by Mr B. O. Gourtney, of Christchurch, will be substitutcd, althcugh the donor intended it to be contested by all countries playing Bugby League. This, however, has not been found possible.
