Gathering at Porangahau

PORANGAHAU, Last Night. At the conclusion of the match between Waipukurau H.S.O.B. and Porangahau, at Porangahau, Mr. McCormick presented the cups won during the season. Johnnie Walker Knock-out Cup.— Porangahau juniors. Mr. Longley, on behalf of the team, thanked the coach Mr. F. Sciascia for his help. Central Park Challenge Cup.---Porangahau. G. Kuru, the captain, replying, thanked the Central Hawke's Bay Union for allowing them to play in their union. He specially thanked Mr. A. W. Parsons for his untiring eft'orts and help to both seniors and juniors. Mr. Parsons thanked the people of Porangahau for the splendid support in the queen carnival. Thisi would amply repay the footballers next season. He complimented the boys on | their behaviour and sporting efforts gnd offered his support for seasons to eome. Afternoon tea was served atMhe conclusion of the cnatch.
