FORESTERS' DANCE HELD AT HAVELOCK NORTH
A jolly dance was held in the Towu Board Hall, Havelock North, last evening whi,ch had been arranged by the social committee of the Court Sir Henry Havelock of the Ancient Order of Foresters. A good" number of dancers Avere present aud a pieasant evening was spent dancing to music played by Messrs Lew Munro and Jim Warren. Au interval was made in the programme aud a tempting supper was served, this being enjoyed by everyone. Among those present were: — Mrs Brittin, biack matelasse with a cluster of white floAvers at *the neck. Mrs A. Slade, deepest green cloque with insets of lace in the puffed sleeves. Mrs R. Liley, white floral chiffon mouuted on pinlt and having a sash of pink velvet. Mrs R. Warrington, spring green stiffened net with bands of silver trimming the full skirt and a wide silver belt. Mrs J. Pollock, deepest smoke blue cloque with a pink rose at the neck. Mrs Davis. green matelasse with a corsage posy of gold flowers. Mrs O. Weaver, black frock worn with a coatee of black flowered satin. Mrs E. Olsen, white matt crepe gown worn with a shoulder spray of greeu flowers.Mrs Liley, wine georgette with insets of needleruu lace and a brilliaut clasp at the neck. Mrs Kedpatb, brown mariette spotted with wliite and a white corsage posy. Mrs D. Orombie, white flowered organdie with a blue velvet coatee. Miss G. Wilson, ocean green cloque with a plaitcd girdle of silver aud green. Miss I. Clark, floral silk in net shades worn with a red velvet sash. Miss M. Gardner, chalk greeu cotelle with flared basque aud short sleeves pleated at the skoulders. Miss M. Ivrogk, white self-striped matelasse with cowled neck and " red girdle. Miss D. Rapley, green souple satiu with long hanging scarvcs lined with white. Miss' M. Sanson, coronation red taffeta having a silver collar and ■ button trimming. Miss B. Duncaii, nile green augelsldn silk worn with a shirred cape of green satiu. Miss M. Bashford, deepest green satin ehannelaine aud a b'lack velvet coatee. Miss R. Dudfleld> sky bluo sclfspottcd mariette with a sash of blue satiu. Miss G. Adams, pctal pink cloque worn witli a black velvet coatee with white .fur collar. Miss Bessio Frost, delphinium blue suedo crepe worn with a black velvet cape edged with blue iswansdown. Miss B. Greening, cai'e au lait angelskiu lace mouuted. on deep apricot taffeta. Miss M. McKeown, black taffeta having short puffed sleeves and red corsage spray. Miss D. Kedpath, lotus bud pink chiffon with a spray of flowers across the neck iu front. Miss J. Gardner, vivid apricot cotelle with silver sequins outlining the square neck. Miss E. Downes, red taffeta with a pleated frill of stiffened net edging tho neekline. Miss J. Brittin, blue silver threaded cotelle with brilliaut belt aud corsage clasps'. Miss M. Brittin, deepest green mirror velvet with tiny gold covered buttons down the back. Miss A. Sanson, tete de negre taffeta with gold lined sash and corsage flowers. Miss L. Orchard, black satin with the hem edged wi.th a ruched frill of scarlet satin. Miss fS. Gamman, primrose matelasse gown worn with a coatee of figured satin. Miss J. Joll, priiurase flowered taffeta with a riclilieu pedal clasp at Ihe neck. Miss 1. Combe, apricot georgette Avith flared epaulettes and red shoulder epray. Miss g. Redpath, whi.to flowered taffeta with red velvet sash and corsage spray.
