Buchanan entcrtained a numbcr of friends at her residence, Carberry, Ongaonga, at a dc.lightful kitchen afternoon, the guest of honour reeeiving many useful gifts for her kitchen. On Monday afternoon Miss Mary Buchanan, who was assisted by her mother, Mrs H. Buchanan, entertained a uumber of Miss Bibby 's friends at a "party" afternoon.
