A statbleford bogey was played last Saturday ' by a large representation of players of tlie tnens' section of rlie Waipawa Golf Club. The round resulted in a win for R. Knoblock, who 'turnod ih a card of 35. Some of the best cards returned were as follow. — Knoblock 35, Paul Edwards 30, Trevana 30, Watts 29, Cliisholm 27, Withercw 27, Stewart 27, Strang 26. Collings 25. A stableford bogey will be played tomorrow for the secretary' s trophy the draw for which is as foliows : — JJryant plays Dwight, Edwards plays Surridge, Bishop plays Knoblock, Ticknor plays Woods, Shackleford plays Norris, Clark plays Alitchell, Jopson plays Dallas, Dick plays Fox, Petersen plays Jf.ffrey, Holt plays King plays Walker. Eurther. elimination games were played during the week-end, the championship reaching the final stage, when Watts accounted for Bishop by a emall tnargin. The junior championsliip is to he contested by Kittow and G. Knoblock and this event should be finalised within a few days. The F. M. T. Cup goes to G. Knoblock. who beat Trevana after a close game. Knoblock takes this trophy for the second year in succession. Tlfb captain's trophy fiuds a recipient in R.
