AUCKLAND, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr Ernest Clifton Bealc, aged 75, who played a lcading part in the past 30 years m fitting New Zealand cricketers for their periodic trials of strength with England in Britain, and in keeping the standard of the game ,up to Test match pitch. For many years Mr Bealc praetised as a I solicitor in Auckland. He and his \ brother, Mr A. M. Bealo took a regular part in cricket competitions. The latter became an Auckland representative. Mr E. C. Beale's ambition was to see a New Zealand team play England at Lord's, and achieved this in 1930 during the seeond New Zealand team's visit to England.- ,
