NOLAN DISQUALIFED

AUCKLAND, Last Night. Cautioned on several occasions for slowness in breaking when ordered to, do so by the referee, Don Nolan was finally disqualified in the seventh round of a professional heavyweight wrestling contest against the New Zealander Lofty Blomfield. Prior to this each man had gecured a fall and Nolan appeared to have the advantage on points. The seventh round opened in lively fashion with both contestants punching and jolting wildly. Blomfield was knoclted through the ropes and Nolan refusing to allow his opponent to regain his feet maiutained a barrage of jolts to Blomfield 's jaw. The referee attcmpted to break the mcn but in the ensuing xnelee he was knocked off his feet. Nolan then lifted Blomfield and dumped him hard but the referee broke the wrestlers and raiscd the New Zealander 's arm as an indication that Nolan had been disqualified.
