WELLINGTON, Last Niglit. Tlie rara sight of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, the Minister of Finance, the Hon W. Nash, tho Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones., and the Minister of Public Works, tho ' Hon. H. A. Lee, Parliamen- j tary Under-Secretary in charge of bous- ; ing, was master of ceremonies. Mr Savago said that New Zealand j was at least 20 years beliind the times I in liousing, and in money between j £16,500,000 and £17,500,000 behind to- j day's requirements.
