HASTINGS GUILD FORM SOCIAL ACTIVITIES CIRCLE
The social activities cirele of the Hastings Townwomen's Guild met Tecently in St. Matthew 's sehoolroom. Mrs. A. P. Glenny, the guild president, was in the chair and explained the aims and purpose of the circle, to form a reserve guild fund to assist the guild to secure ils own meeting room. An cxeeutive committee was elected as follows: — Mrs. E. Riley, leader; Mrs. G. Steovens, secretary and treasurer; Mesdames J. Harris, Bryant, Kelly, G. P. Hopltins and a representative from each circle. It was decided to commence. activities by holding a card party and dance in the Oddfellows' Hall on October 7, further particulars to be advertisecl later.
