Air Mail Plane Loses Its Bearings

(Received 18, 1.0 p.m.) BROKEN HILL, Sept. IS. Iu a terrific dust storm yesterday, the Austx'alian National Airways mail plahe from Melbourne twxce overshot Brokeu Hill and was reported missing. Thefe were no passengers aboard the machine which landed 50 miles north of its destination. Returning, it again missed the city and flnally was reported ten miles south of Broken Hill.
