WELLINGTON. This Day. An allegjation that the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates had admitted in a recent speech that the iinpdsition of the wage and salary cuts in 1931 was a mistake was refuted by Mr W. P. Endean (Opposition, Parnell), during tlie Ad-dress-in-:U:ply debate in the House oi Uepresentatives yesterday . Mr Endean said that what Mr Coates had stated was that- in the light of experience if he were fnced with similar circumstanees he would not take the same action.
