KITE ATTRACTS LIGHTNING

A kito attaclicd b.V wire to an observation vessel at the Friedrichshafen observatory disappcarcd in a eloud, whefeupon a slieet of fire rusbed down the xtriTe. A stroke of lightning followed axld a rain of fire poured ou the vessel and Lake Constance. Six thousand feet of wire was melted and the kite and instrumexits were destroyed.
