Loyalists Resisting on Gijon Froht _ c GUERILLA ACTIONS (Received 18, 2.30 p.m.) HENDAYE, Sept. 18. Although seven loyalist battalions are strung out over a wide front in the 4sturias, they are fighting desperate guerifia actions, dynamiting roa-ds and bridges, and infiicting heavy losses, holding-up the insurgent drive towards Gijon.
