Theft From Vatican
(Received 18, 1.0 p.m.) VATICAN City, Sept. 17. The historic "fishcrman's ring,'' which is placed on the lingor of ncwlyelected Popers, was among tho valuables stolen from the Vatican 011 September 10. lt has, presumably, been meltod down. Tho loss is most inconvOilieilt, aS the ring firust bo used for sealing briefs, so that those reCeiving defioratiOns from the Pope will have to wait for its replacement. .
