World Sculling Title.

H. R. (Bob) Pearce, champion sculler of the world, is anxious to defend his title in Australia, according to a letter received by the secretary of Royal Hobert Centenary RegattaPearce says he is prepared to visit Robart for the regatta if a suitablc challenge race can be arranged.

Scotland is sending Donald Robertson and England B. Norris, for the Empire Games marathon race, to be held at Sydney next February. Both are great athletes, with many outstanding performances to their credit. For. 16 years Jim Sullivan, England's famous League code full-back who was captain of two English touring sides in Australia anrl New Zealand, has assisted the Wigan Club, and will continue to do so next season.
