RECENT WEDDING OF HASTINGS INTEREST

JACKSON— PAIRMAN Tbe wedding was solemnised at Somervell Memorial Presbyterian Ohureh, Bemuera, recently of Margaret Wyld, younger danghter of Mrs A. W. Pairnian, Lochiel road, Bemuera, and tbe late Dr. A. W. Pairman, and Donald Leslie Jackson, youngest son of Mrs T. Jackson, Gallien street, Hastings, and tbe lato Mr Tbeo Jackson. Tbe ceremony, wbicb was fully cboral, was performed by tbe Bev. T. N. Cuttle and tbe organ musie was played by Miss M Grav. Tbe church was beautifully deeorated cn tones of cream and. gola by iriends of tbe bnde, assisted by tbe cboir, of wbicb tbe bride was a valued member. Tbe bride, wbo was given away by ber brother, Mr E. Pairman, looked very sniart in a model ensemble of beige and brown witb large picture bat in tbe same tonings. Sbe carried a bouquet of creaui and gold daffodils. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Isabel Gray wbo wore a frock of deep bottie green witb large black bat and carried a bouquet of deep gold daffodils and henna polyanthus. The bridegroom was attended by Mr T. 0. Jackson, of Hastings, and the ushers wero Mr P. Batts and Mr T. Graham. Following tbe ceremony a luncbeon was lield at tbe liome of tlie bride 's • mother at wbicb close relatives of tbe bride and bridegroom wcre present. M'rs Pairman wore a model frock 'of black matelasse relieved witb touehes of wbite, a black bat, and carried a bouquet of .violets and primr'oses. I\[rs Jackson, tbe bridegroom 's mother, wore a navy biue tailored suit witb skunlc furs and carried a bouquet of gold flowers. Miss Pairman, tbe bride 's sister, wore a smart marina biue frock witb shoulder cape and wore a bat in tones of biue and grey. Tlie bride travelled in a smart grey tailored suit, witb navy biue hceessories and a grey squirrel neeklet. Tbe future bome. of tbe bride and bridegroom wili be Waikiekie, Nortb Auckland, wkcre tbe bridegroom bas received a teaching appointment.
