m • ■ — Schedule of Sheep Classes Sheep .being Hawke's Bay's main gourcB of wealth, it might naturally be expected that sheep, lambs, ete., "would oceupy a very prominent place in any show in the provinco, in fact in the Dominion, and the very comprehensivo schedule of classes for sheep, lambs, etc. shows that the society is fully alive to the necessity of encouraging sheepbxeeders to find some classes in which ■to exhibit their stock. Separate classes ara provided for each of the leading lireeds of sheep. Eonmeys and Southdowns are provided with open and natural condition classes. There are meat, wool and crossbred sectioas, crossbred section (meatt wool and breeding purposes) , fat sheep (farmers' classes), export classes, distriet fat lamB competition fieece wool section, etc. For each description of sheep a plentiful lot of fine trophies has been allotted, while- the very valuable Sir Douglas McLean Perpetual Memorial Cup will at this show be awarded to the exhibitor securing most points in the stud sheep section. Fieece wool exhibited at the Hawke's Bay Show may, if entered when entries close for that show, also be shown later at the "Wairoa Show in January next, in connection with the Wairoa A. and P. Society 's inter-district fleece wool competition. Entries for all classes closo on Wedne«day, September 29, at the society 's office, Church Lane, Napier, or at Mr F. 0.
