Formerly a student to beconio a paslor in tho Dutch Churcli, Dr. Craven was prevcnted from completing his studies by a throat injury which seri ously affected his voice, and in his native land is now in a teaching position at St. Andrew's, Grahamstowu. It was noticeable last evening, however, that the eff-ects of his injury have disappeared, for allh-mgh his voice was quiet, it Avas peneuating and impressive. The visitor rcviewed his sporting career, and for a short period spoke on the relationship between sport and Ghristianity, emphasising that it was good sportsmanship that had made the game of Rugby. During his tour of New Zealand, Dr. Craven has addressed congregations in many ehurckes in additioir tq Bibie classos3 .
