auckland. Last Night. After fruitless eft'orts to tind a house for nearly a fortnight, Mr J. Underwood, who returned to Auckland recently after a short absence, set up a tent at the municipal motor camp at Western Springs to-day and wil] make a home there for his wife and five children if he is still unable to find a house. In a previous statement Mr and Mrs Uudeiwood stated that tliey had searehed the citv and suburbs for 11 davs for a house or even vooms:
