CHRISTCHURGH. Last Night. One- day cricket i« to be played in tlie Canterbury Cricket Association 's competitiOTis this year. The changoover from two-day matches was approved by 2.1 votes to 13 at the annual meeting of delegutes rhis evening after ! a fairly long discussion. In favour of tho change, it Wa> i argued that one-day games would brighton Canterbury cricket for both players and speetators and would operate as a strong influence for the iinprovement of the etandard of the game.
