Labourer Pleads Guilty

WELLINGTON, This Day. Pleadiug guilty to forging a chequo aud to three charges of obtaining Uioney by means false choques, E. Gray, labourer, was committed to the Supromo ourt for senteuco. The forgery charge related to a cheque for £38 signed by W. Barton and endorsed by E. Gray and payable to E. Gray at Featherston. The other charges rt»lat» ed to obtaimng money from Thomas Coltman, Grand Hotel, Wellington, .lohn Herciiius Farghcr, Napier, clotbing and money with a cheque for £23, and C. W. Mcrrylees, Club Hotel, Dannevirke.
