Big Event To-morrow Night What promises to be one of the outstanding events of the dancing season will take place in the Assembly Hall, Hastings, to-morrow night, when the National Ball will be held, and coir.cidiug as it does with the SpriugbokItawke's Bay matck there is little donbt that it will be largely attendcd. An invitation has been, extended to the Springbok and Hawlte's Bay teaais and tlioy will both be represented. l'he dauciug will be Qld-time and modern, and Lew Munro's orchestra has been engaged. ' For the benefit of uon-danc-ers a card-room has been set apart. The committee bas, therefore, catered for everyone desiring to attenri what shouJd be a notable l'unction. Dancing will take plnce between 8.30 and 1.30, and supper will bc served between 3 0.30 and midnight. The commitloo specially wish it to be known that evening dfbss is optional, so that those atlending the football in the afternoon and who are not able to chauge ir.to" evening dress will be as wclcome a" those in dress suits.
