A necklaco made 1'rom dogs' teeth aiid another made froin beetles> legs were included in an interesting colleetion of native curios shown to merabers of the Wallingford Women 's Institute at their aionthiy meeting by Mrs. John Canning, who gave a travel talk about her journey from Melbourne to Raubal (New Guinea). Mrs. J. D. Ormond presided over the meeting. Mesdames Jackson, C. Ward, S. Wright, Absolum and T. Geenty served afternoon tea. The competitions for ttie month were judged by Mrs. Flanagan and Miss Farrow. The following were the results: — Best collection of spring flowers: Mrs. T. Hobson 1, Mrs. A. S. Wilder 2, Mrs. S. Ward 3. Prettiest bowl of spring flowers: Mrs. J. D. Ormond 1, Mrs. 'A. S. Wilder 2, Mrs. Hewson 3. Article suitable for showing at A. and P. show: Mrs. Hewison 1, Mrs. F. Ward 2.
