Mr and Mrs J. Ferry and daughter, Wanganui, are spending a holiday in Waipukurau with Mr and Mrs W. Walker, Russell street. Dr. J. Stonkouse, of Katikati, liaa accepted the position of doctor on the Cap Pilar, which will lcavo Auckland this week for the South Sea lslands, the United States and Europe. Ms S. W. Whitc, of Dunedin, formeriy of Napier, who has received an ongineering appointment with the Bluo Star Shipping iLne, sailed for London from Auckland by the Empire Star last week. Flying-Officer E. B. . Waters, of No. 1 (Army Co-operntion) Squadron, New Zealand Air Force, has been appointcd to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and will leave Auckland this week for duty at Wigram Acrodrome.
