The glittering star triumvirate of Joan Crawford, William Powell and Robert Mqntgomery conie to the screen at the Regent • to-night in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's urbane and highlypolished screen translation of Frederio Lonsdale's stage suceess, "The Last of Mrs Cheyney." A clever adantion of the original Lonsdale Broadway hit has Ueen devised by Leon Gordon, Samson Raphaelson and Monekton Holfe giving the story an interesting variety oi luxurious backgrounds and an addition of sparkling and kighly amusing dialogue. "The Last of Mrs Clieyney," eannofc fail to please hlmgoers of every uge and taste. It is a brigkt, amusing and diverting entertainment and the combined talents of Miss Crawford, Powell and Montgomery, plus its excellent supporting players, raise it exactly to tkat standard which one would expect of so ricli an assemblage of star power. Tho supporting programme is up to the usual high standard, and includes an "Our Gang" comedy and a Robert Benchley oddity.
