Richmond LtL, stock buyers, Hastings, (Mr Selwyn Averill) driving at an excessive speed and faillng to kecp a proper look-oqt, A counter claiin for £33 15/6 was eixtei*ed, on the giounds tjbat tho accident was due to tiio uegligent driving of Edwards. Lengthy evidence was heard, tlie case lasting nearly all day, and the scene of tho collision was later iuspected by the Magistrate. The decision was given in favour oi Edxvards in both the claim and the counter-clainj. On tho ciaitn, plaintifi was allowed costs amouxxting to £9*4/6,
