Lane Cup Junior Knock-out A missed conversion in front of ;tlie posts put Marist out of the Swain Cup junior Rugby knock-out competition, Taradale winning the game on Saturday at Napier by nine points to eigbt. Whittington and Bluusden scored for Taradale, and a try by D. Scoble had been converted by Hayes for Marist shortly before the ciose of the game, making the score nine to five in favour of Taradale. Allen then scored for Marist between the posts, but Hayes missed an easy kick.
