Master A. Wilton, who is leaving the district, was mad-e a presentation at the E islington Badminton Club"s meetmg. Eegret was expressed that the club was losing sueh a fine player who had an unbeaten record and was stiE on tho top of the ladder. Master Wilton was- a real good scout, a sport,; and a promising mmiaturo rilio shot. He was prasented with a 1'ountain pen froin the hall and badminton coimuittee. Mr and Mrs J. P. Moore, of Auckland, are visitiug Wairoa. Nurse Nairu hua roturned to Auckland ai'Lcr spcnding 12 months in Wairoa. Mr J. Millar, postmaster at NuWairoa this week for Wellington to meet their son, Mark, who is an engineer on the Narbada. Mr J. Millar, postmaBte at Nulialta, who was under trajiat'-er on promotion, is not now leaving. The P"st and Telegraph Departmout has decided to retain his services at Nuhaka. Bis promotion will take effect by the Nuhaka oQice going up a grad-e.
