WRESTLING IN HASTINGS
Vic Christy Meets Fioyd Marshall Wrcstling and footbajl enthusiasts will liave an opportunity on Wednesday next in Hastings' of seeing in action Vic Christy, the "infant prodigy" from California. Christy' s opponent will bd Floyd Marshall, the Arizonian giant, who will be remembered as having given McCready such a tremendous tussie recently. Marshall, besides being "forccful,'' mixes wifh his aggressiveness' good, scientific wrestling, and can ahvays be depended ,011 for a good periorniance. Christy has just arrived from Austialia, where he was originally to wrestle for two montbs, but such was his popularity that his pronioters in the Commonwealth were reluctant to releasc him and his tour lasted I'our inoliths. Both these men are experts with tlie scissors holds. Marshall certainly demoustrated liis ability with these holds when wrestling McCready in Hastings, causing the latter some very painful moments and it was with the flying scissors that Christy obtained the equaiising fall against McCready last Saturday night.
