WELLINGTON, This Day. . The Wellington Trotting Club held its spring meeting at Hutt Park to-day in dull and overcast weather. The course is soft and slow. The GovernorGeneral is in attendance. Results: — NAI NAI HANDICAP.— 5/3 DEBUTANTE (24) 1. 4/6 Winnie Parish (ser.) 2, 3/4 Dark Hazard (scr.) 3. Won by tliree lengtli's. The favourite, Swordsman, failed over the last halfmile, HUTT PARE TBIAL.— 2/1 TARUNA (scr.) 1, 8/6 Adversity (scr.) 2, 4/8 Snowy Bingen (scr.) 3. Won by half a length. BOLLAED MEMORIAL. — 5/5 IRONSIDE (scr.) 1, 3/4 Frisco Lady (scr.) '2, 3/2 Lady Fame (12) 3. Won by three lengths, third horse two lengths back. WELLINGTON STAKES.— 3/3 REFUND 1, 1/1 Sandusky 2, 2/2 TwOs Loose 3. Won by half a length, third horse two lengths back. A judicial inquiry disqualified Dark Hazard for excessive galloping in the etraight in the Nai Nai Handicap, and awarded third place to Indolent.
