Accidental Death of Auckland Woman

AUCKLAND, Last Night. An inquest into the death of Mrs Winifred Jane Smith, aged 45, who was found dead in the bath at her home at Herne Bay, was held be.fore the coroner, Mr F. K. Hunt. Mrs Smith's husband, Edward Smith, chemist, said that when he returned home fr^jjn church on Sundayj September 5, with his son and daughter, he found his wife lying in the bath with her head submerged Her clothes were folded on a chair and the taps wero turned off. Mrs Smith had been in good health. A verdict was returned of accidental death.
