The first lialf of the tournament is now completed, with. the exception of the games between Mason and Williams and Bartle and. Williams, the following being the positions of the competitors:
In tlie minor championship tournament Tesults are as follow: — Whibley beat Husheer; Blundell beat Ewen; Ewen beat Burt i(two games); Callaghan beat Burt; Burt beat Callaghan; Pirani beat Willis. Handicap: Burt beat Whibley.
