(From Our Own Correspondents) Golf Club Rules. Rules for the Norsewood Golf Club were discussed and brought to linality at a meeting held in the Teading room. The rules ,as drawn up by the club's .solieitor, Mr A. E. Lawry, were adopted with a few alterations. Norsewood Card Tournament. Over 500 card enthusiasts attended the Norsewood Women 's institute's fortnightly tournament. In the .wonlen's section Mrs C. Jackson was the winner with nine wins out of 10 games played. Mr H. Eichards won the men's section with seven wins. School Rugby "Fans." Mr P. Smalley, hoadmaster of the Ormondville School, has undertaken to look after the school children who wish to go to Napier to see the Springbok — Hawke's Bay match. The children will take their own lunch, which will be eaten on the beach at Napier. If there is time the children will later be talcen to see the Napier Breakwater and other jxlaces of interest. Free-Milk Scheme Extended. The State free milk scheme for iho school s in Dannevirke, whereb.v each pupil is to receive half a pint daily, was inaugurated on Tuesday, when short addresses were made at the two primary schools and the Convent by the Mayor, Mr E. Waipukurau Golf Club Draw. There will be no Waipukurau Golf Club draw for to-morrow for the fourth round of the Divers Cup and players are asked to arrange their own partners. Mrs Bendcich won iirst prizo in ihe woiuea's section with .15 games, .Mrs Buriield being sGcond with l.'U games, in tho men's section Mr Climo's 131 games gavo hitu iirst prize. For sccond prize Messrs Giddons and Durfield wero ecjual, each having wou 11 games, and lliey were still cqual after cutting^ each obtaining an ace. A second cut gave the prize to Mr Giddens. The winner of a competition was Mr Finch.
