Gay deoorations gave a touch of colour to tbe ball. At intervals round tbe ivalls were clusters of bamboo inteimingled witli brigbt paper poppies and forming a frieze wns a \vide bluo streamer witb narrow scallops of orange and lemon. Overbead^tbe stago xvas a largie replica of tbe scbopl badge and ffbm tbis were radiated streamers in red and blue. tbe scbool colours. Along tbo front of t^te stage were a variety of palms and bowls of spring bulbs. Mr G. B. Wilkinson was in charge oi' tbe' ball deoorations. An -especially delicious ' supper was enjoyed, tbe tablcs in tbe suppei-rooin baving bcen artistically deeorated by Mrs W.
