Final Training Operations at Wanganui

THIS MORNING'S GALLOPS

WANGANUI, This Day. The weather was fine for training operations this morning. No. 1 grass track was on the heavy side for the early work owing to dew. Middle and Debham ran half a mile in 51 4-5. The former was a shade the better. Both were wide out. Protector and Eqyal Chief went from the five-furlongs post, the former pulling up after running two furlongs in 24 secs. Eoyal Chief went on to register 1.4. Black Fox and Bhodesia ran half a mile in 52. Even Money and Master Norval jumped three hurdles, shaping well. Joe Louis sprinted three furlongs in 38 1-5. Grand Jury ran the last half of a round in 51£. Felicitation and Mahutai ran three furlongs in 37 1-5 and Pakanui half a mile in 48 1-5. Joviality took 50. After breakfast Slippery ran three furlongs in 39£, Amigo and Toaiti taking 38 1-5. The former was in front. Might, Free Gold and Peerless did three-quarter pace work sejarately. Hunting Cat ran six furlongs' accompanied over five furlongs by Top Hat in 1.5. Amatry ran three furlongs in 38, Cyclopean six in 1.22, and Minga and Fabrie three comfortably in 39. „ Useful work was done by Cerne Abbas, Icing, Eelative, Entail, Sigurd, Dissipation and. a number of others. Booklaw schooled over three big rences, jumped well.
