Mr. A. PellOw, Chief Postmaster at Napier, has resumed duty after his annual leave in Auckland, Mr and Mrs F. H. Reid, of Pakowhai, left by car this morning for Wellington, where Mr Eeid will resume duties On the staff of Hansard at the HouSe of Eepresentatives. Mrs M. Davys of Wairoa, left on Saturday for Auckland in connection With the serious condition of her daughter, Miss Dorothy Davys, who sustained injuries in a car accideut. Mrs W. innes, of Wairoa, accompanied by her son, Mr W. Innes, left on Sunday for Soutiiland, ^here the latter's marriage takes plade shortly. The Rev. A, E. Sinali, of the London Missionary. Society, arrived at Auckland by the Niagara from Sydney to carry out deputation work in New Zealand. Belsbaw, of Auckland a brotlier of Dr. H. Beishaw professor of edonoinics at Auckland University College, idturned to Auckland by the Niagara after spending two years at Manchester University Dr. J. V. Bartholomew, of San Franciscp, arrived at Auckland by the Niagara froin Sydney with Mrs Bartholomew, and iater left for Feilding to visit his parents. For the last eight months Dr. and Mrs Bartholoitiew have been on a leisurely tour of tlie world.
