Despite the weather conditions provailing on Saturday. Messrs Gordon "Walker, Ltd., report a very i'ull yarding of all classes of Jive and .dead stock ac their weekly market sale. Weauer pig« were easier in price, but all other liuea were selling on a par with previou* rates. Poultry was again in strong demand, and buyers were unable to securo their requirements. Good dairy cows and heifers are in demand. Fruit, produce and sundries sold at satisfactory prices to vendors. The following pricee were realised: — Poultry; Table birds 3/7 to 6/-, W.L. hens 3/7 to 4/8, W.L. cockerels 3/6 to 5/2, B.O, hens 4/5 to 6/-, B.O. cockerels */y to 6/-, E.I.B. hens 3/10 to 4/6, R.I.E. cockerels 3/6 to 5/-, l.E. ducks 5/4 to 6/- per pair. Muscovy ducks 6/to 7/2 per" pair, W.L. chick cockerels 3d to 7d, B.O. chick cockerels 9d to 1/1. Pigs: Weaners 15/- to 23/6 and 8/- to 14/-, slips 20/- to 25/6, stores 29/- to 36/6. porkers 39/- to £3 4/-, baconers £3 18/- to £4 3/6, breeding sows 30/to £2 5/-. Dairy stock: Jersey cow £6 10/-, 1 at £6 5/-, 1 at £5 5/-, 1 at £3 10/-, 1 at l£3 15/-, 1 Jersey heifer £3 10/-.
