MR ALLAN McGRATH

The death has occurred in Glasgow of Mr Allan McGrath, formerly of Wairoa. according to cabled advice teceivetl ycsterday by his sister, Mrs James Johnston, Wairoa. The late Mr McGrath was in his 54th yeiir Mr McGrath, who was well-known in Wairoa, sliowed at an early age a bent for engineering. TWo of his sisters combined to send him to Engkuid and provided for his education. Their contidence in him was not misplaced, for he built up a suceessful engineering business. Mr McGrath married Miss Jessie Chalmers. In addition to his widow he leaves a son, at the age of 24 years, who will carry on his father's business.
