GISBORNE, Last Night. On Saturday night Joe WoodS defeated Eusty Wescoatt, the latter being unable to continue after the sixth round, in which he was injured when securing a fall to even matters. Woods secured .the first fall in the fourth round by pinning Wescoatt after adump. Roused by the. reverse, Wescoatt infused more devilxnent into the exhibition and brought off a flying tackle, which he iollowed up with a body press for the fall. In diving he struck his head on his opponent 's teeth, opening his scalp, and he was unable to leave his eorner when the gong for ihe seventh sounded.
