Slade, of Londoii, at a mecting of the firitish Association. He said it would be pos.sible to obtain 7001l)s. of erudo proteins from an acre of gi'ass which wonld mahe useful food for pigs and also, in emergency, a nutritious paiatable ration for the people. All the arahi e land in Britain, if sown in grass could produce enough "cheese" to feed ' 40;000,000 people.
