HONGKONG TYPHOON

Heavy Death Roll Follows Tidal Wave (Received 4, 8.45 a.m.) HONGKONG, Sept. 3. The death roll as a result of the typhoon which struck Hongkong on Thursday is stated to be at least 100. The property damage in Hongkong alone amounts to over 1,000,000 dollars. Over 100 bodies have been recovered at Taipoo, whieh was overwhelmed by a tidal wave. Hundreds are still missing.
