MASTERTON, Last NigliL. Between £50 and £60 in cash was taken from the safe of the Masterton offiee of the New Zealand Farmers ' Cooperative Distributing Co. on Thursday night. The key to the strongroom, which was kept in a certain place for the convenience of the staff, was fonnd and the strongroom opened. As the thieves reloeked the strongroom and removed the key, it was found necessary to open the strongroom by means of an oxy-acetone apparatus. A quantity of cigarettes and tobaceo was also stolen from the company 's grocery shop.
