At the weekly meeting of the Napier Cbess Club the following games were played : Championship, Bartle beat Scott; Ma son drew with Aislabie ; Brown heat Williams, Brown beat Scott, Aislabie heat Williams, Bartle drew with Mason. Minor tournament: Burt beat Willis. Blundell beat Callaghan (2 games). In a ladder match Willis beat Burt ; and in the handieap competition Ewen heat Wider strom.
