Meeting of Creditors From Our Own Correspondent. WAIPAWA, Last Nigh't. A meeting. of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Whati Eru, native, of Waipawa , was held in the Waipawa Courthouse this afternoon, the deputy Official Assignee, Mr G. G. Chisholin, presiding. In his personal statement the bankrupt said he had done very little shearing during the xpast season and the crutching had not been very succeesfui. In March an order was made against him in favour of the Standard Trading Co., of Hamilton, for payment of 30/- a month. He had been unable to ujeet the instalments and had been arflested on a warrant. The amount was paid by his mother to seeare his release. He was anticipating the issue of further warrants as he had no moans of meeting them and and had been compelled to file, He had no assets other than an old car and a separator^pui-cbased under the hire-pnrchase system and which is returnable to the company. He was unable to make any oft'er. The creditors represented were Bryant and Co., J. Keading and D. H. EdwarUs. Mi S. W. Strang appeared on behalf of the bankrupt. Examiued by the Assignee, bankrupt said bo was raarrled with two children. The i'urniture was the pro perty of his wife.
